cloudy hot water

we have had a new combi boiler! when we turn hot tap on the water is cloudy however after a couple of minutes the cloudyness goes!
any ideas?

I have the same thing and asked the same question.
It was a while ago now and I forget the full answer but it has something to do with the pressure of the water as it leaves the system, and its perfectly normal.
I'm sure someone will expand on this a little!0 -
It is probably caused by bubbles of air that slowly disperse.0

This happens a lot with pressurised hot water systems....
And Combi's as well....
It is indeed air...
But it does make the water very cloudy and worries a lot of people.....
I find a good way to re-assure people is to put some of the offending water in a clear glass...
It will look very cloudy :eek:
But.........
You should notice the bubbles dissapear from the bottom up and not leave a residue...
Thus proving it is air bubbles as the air should rise to the top.....
Now if it clears from the top to the bottom....... :eek:0 -

it seems its a very common thing. most of my family and friends have the same cloudiness in the water.Get some gorm.0 -
