Gadget cover.......

Has anyone got mobile phone or other gadget insurance with this company? Seem to be a good price and have quite extensive cover. Just seeing if anyone has any experience with them?

Which company sista? Or am I being blind again :p

I just cancelled "Gadget Helpline" which came with my contract last week, mainly because I'm an IT guy anyway. They seemed OK ish, £3.99 a month covering all electronics and all household members.

Very cheesy retention tactics though, including offering a useless PAYG phone, and rather enthusiastically suggesting I should "carry on, try us out, put the phone down!".

Cant see the site but the domain is owned by CPP who are a large provider of ancillary insurance products - they are often the company behind many of the freebies with bank accounts etc. eg the Natwest Mobile Phone insurance is the same company

Read the T&Cs carefully and dont make assumptions. Many of these gadget covers etc for example only have indemnity cover and NOT new for old (most just assume it is new for old)
