FD: any other faster-than-expected payments?

"Real-time banking" will often apply when the cheque is banked to another customer of the same bank.0

Here's another payment which went through in a day instead of two or more days [payment on 6th April - applied on 7th April]: FD bank account to Scot Widows CC - which is a Lloyds TSB branded card. It only appeared on the SW account today [12th] however, but with the earlier than expected posting date......under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0

I can't say much about it but Banks are working on this expect more details to become available soon. Before the end of this year the major players will be doing same day transfers for intrest reasons only, and same day transfers (money available same day) by end of 2006.0

Egg savings to Nationwide Investdirect [savings] account: Took 2 days to appear at Nationwide [as would be expected]* but the date of credit showed one day sooner. This is of no practical use - apart from one day's added interest [maybe?] - since the money still takes two days to become available.
*ES to NW current a/c always takes 2 days.....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0
