Income based JSA and Premiums

Hello,
I know that there are premiums for income based benefits such as Housing Benefit and ESA. I was wondering if they are also added to Income based JSA?
I have recently graduated from university and have claimed JSA (which will be income based, as I have not made sufficient NI contributions during my study). However, no premiums have been added, I only receive the over-25 personal allowance of £71.
I receive DLA (middle rate care and lower rate mobility) so I believe that I am entitled to the disability premium, if one exists for income based JSA?
I am trying to contact JCP and ask about this but it's quite difficult to get through to them.
Many thanks.

Yes, you should get severe disability premium - though it may be different if someone is claiming carers allowance for you.

Thank you. I know I received severe disability premium when living alone and claiming HB during the final year of my degree. Wasn't sure if I'm still entitled to it when claiming JSA with the change in my living situation but I'll check the link and I'll chase them up. They've already messed up my claim as the jobcentre gave me the incorrect appointment so, as I failed to turn up, they closed the claim. I've only just got that sorted out...I'm wondering if this incompetence is deliberate.
Thank you for your time.0 -

Yes, I know that if I receive the SDP then I will also receive single rate DP. However, I'm not sure if I'll receive SDP as I have now left my student house (where I was classed as living alone) and moved back with my parents who, I assume, are classed as non-dependents and therefore I am not living alone?
However, either way, I know I should be entitled to the single rate disability premium at the very least.
Thank you for your help.0 -
You should receive the Disability Premium as you are in receipt of Disability Living Allowance. If it has not been awarded as part of your JSA entitlement you need to phone them and let them know that you are receiving DLA, or take your DLA award letter to the Jobcentre when you sign on and ask them to notify the Benefit Centre.
You won't be entitled to SDP as you are living with your parents who are classed as non dependents.
Severe Disability Premium
Lower rate
Single claimants, lone parents and claimants who are deemed to have no partner are entitled to the lower rate SDP if
1. they are in receipt of
1.1 “AA” or
1.2 the middle or highest rate of the care component of DLA and
2. there are no non-dependants aged 18 or over
2.1 normally residing with the claimant or
2.2 who the claimant normally resides with and
3. CA is not in payment to anyone for caring for them.0 -
