Cap for radiator pipes

Options
I am in the process of doing some home decorating, and need to remove the radiators to strip wall paper, plaster and paint.

Unfortunately, one of the pipes connecting to the radiator leaks even when the valve is closed. This is quite annoying as it means I can't leave the radiator off for an extended period of time (which will be necessary for plastering).

Does anyone know if you can buy some sort of cap to screw onto the end of the pipe, thus stopping the leaking?

Yes, B&Q sell them, but they are much cheaper at a local builders merchants (except Coomers, where they cost more).

Depending on what valve it is, it will be either 1/2" or 3/4" cap needed.
