Something different, something fun for Kids during Easter break?

Hello all, I hope that someone out there can help inspire me a little! ok .... inspire me A LOT!! :D

I would like to take the kids away from the Easter break (anytime after the 2nd April) and would like them to have a lot of fun where ever we go and see/do fascinating things.

The only problem is, one is 10 and the other is 3 ... quite a big gap in terms of interest .. but the little one is good at keeping up! One thing they both like is the sea and sea life, but I don't ... little phobia of mine :o I'm ok if I can see the bottom and any fish and the sort are contained in tanks though :D the eldest is quite keen to have a go at horse riding and skiing (not sure how pricey equipment would be for skiing and if 3 year old could do it?)

It'll be just me and the girls. We have from the 3rd to the 15th April. I don't mind if we go to one fun place, or maybe even go to 2 or 3 different places. I would prefer it to be abroad seeing a visiting cities is quite cheap now and I would like the kids to exprience different cultures.

Not sure how much the budget is, maybe £400-£600 (if it is a longer holiday) travelling from London/SE area.

Any ideas appreciated :) TIA! And I am looking forward to being inspired!!;)
I can say whatever I like here ... 'cos no one can see me .. ner ner ner ner ner !!!....

How do you know I ain't sitting here butt naked?!?!

I thunk I've made you think for a minute!

you could alwasy go somewhere in the med for that price, check out teletext holidays or last minute.com

your other option would be somewhere like Egypt but you may not get all 3 of you for that budget, or maybe you should try Disneyland in Paris but your stay would be sorter and it would be very busy over Easter

You could hire a beach chalet down in Cornwall, not abroad but beautiful, have a look at http://www.stives.co.uk/st-ives-beach-chalets.htm we stayed in Blue Yonder and it was fab, it's 2 mins to the beach, loads to do and see around that area, the seal sanctury and all that

bunn leisure holiady park in selsey is really good, its on the beach although very pebbly, kids clubs are really good and on 2 or 3 times a day, restaurants swimming pool, small funfair bike hire and a couple of small parks oh and crazy golf. we normally book ours in advance and get it half price, in july we are paying £270 for a week for a 8 berth caravn all passes included. my brother phoned a couple of weeks ago and asked about the half price deal and they said as long as he pays it in full they will still give it to him half price for this year although they exclude the 6 weeks holiday. hope this helps.

https://www.bunnleisure.co.uk and look at the west sands caravan park as htere is different sites all in one. or phone 01243 606080
