I agree with you eBay should do something about these people trying to scam people it is the wording that catch people out

At the end of the day eBay want to make money so unless they get loads and loads of complaints or something to do with copy rights they wont do nothing.

How does this work in detail? I note that each of the accounts that gave piasuri positive feedback have three feedback, and all this feedback came from people with private feedback.

I also note that on some other auctions by the same seller that people are bidding tens of pounds for panasonic phone utilities. And that on those listings I can see all of the text.

The current scam account Member ID piasuri ( 5 ) buys low value (1p) items from the 5 above, and gets 5 feedback. In turn Member ID piasuri ( 5 ) leaves good feedback on the accounts above if the scammer wants to use those accounts for scamming.

Its like a pyramid of scammer accounts, each leave good feedback, and the scammer picks and choses which account he wants to scam from.

The cost is minimal to the scammer, and will be easily returned by selling one disk. Buyer ends up out of pocket several hundred quid. Scammer makes money and hopes he doesn't get done.

The scammer always has active accounts he can use, and if you look at the dates they do it over years.

I must admit they should be in a different place not in mobile phone section and they are a pain when looking for a phone the other one that gets on my nerves is the contract phones.

Had the picture been of the disc and not the phone then no-one would have been misled.

IMO the titles misleading. It should say utilities disk.

I imagine even the scammer knows this, but they've been doing it for years so it must work.
