Ring them, they will try get you to set up a minimum payment dd, but they do have the option for the full amount.
Of course it's then your responsibility to ensure the source account has enough funds at the right time.
Wouldn't it be easier to set up a bill payment using online banking? Then pay it when you get your statement?Bossymoo

thats what im trying to do at the mo but its says i need the sort and acount code but i havnt got it. suppose i'll have to wait for a bill to come first?0 -
It should have asked you on the application form, but if not I'm sure there's an option in the "My accounts" section to set up a payment method (I no longer have my Halifax CC though)
If not, just give them a ring and they should be able to change it over the phone.thats what im trying to do at the mo but its says i need the sort and acount code but i havnt got it. suppose i'll have to wait for a bill to come first?
Choose the option for "pay a company" or whatever, and choose Halifax card, then in the reference bit you put your card number.
I'd ring them thoughThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Go into your credit card account online, click on ways to pay and the necessary information how to set up a direct debit to pay the full amount is there.0
