Can I use sealant to secure downpipe?

I have my fascias and gutters replaced in May. The company was working in the area and I did go and view their work. It looked fine after completion and quite a few houses in my neighbourhood had their done as well. Unfortunately I have noticed that the part (off bent) that connect the downpipes have come off and there is a gap, my husband has done his best to push it back but he said it is loose. I am wondering whether you coulod advise me what to do, since it cannot be tighten, I was thinking may be I could use some sealant, pl can anybody advise me? The company although the work is supposed to guarantee for 10 yrs is not answering my phone call. Thanks

Write them a letter or go and knock on their door. If you have paperwork from them then you must have an address.

Yes you can fix it with gutter sealant but if you do you may invaidate whatever warranty they have given you.
