Hello all
Does anyone use MSN explorer on their pc at all?
it was on my new pc when i bought it so i use it and i quite like it. I was thinking of upgrading to MSN Premium as there is a 2 month free trial although it is not very clear, i think maybe you have to be in it for 12 months before you can cancel and you just get 12 for the price of ten.
ANYHOO; now what with all the upgrades of msn messenger etc , a lot of which cause msn explorer not to work properly unless you pay for the biggun, i want to go back to good old internet explorer, trouble is how do i do this?
do i need to deactivate msn explorer or delete it, as when i try and use IE instead, pages dont load properly, get little error messages saying, 'done but with errors', pictures with red crosses and such.
Suggestions welcomed.

If you want to remove MSN Exp go to Start -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs -> Add/Remove Windows Compents, uncheck MSN Explorer and Apply.

do you think by removing it IE will operate normally?0 -
Should do.
As far as the little red crosses are concerned just go into Internet Options in IE and ensure 'Show Images' is checked.

If it doesn't, you'll have to got into the Registry and remove any references. Click on Start--> Run--> type "regedit". Can mess up your system if you're not careful :-(0 -
If you have any problems using MSN Messenger, you could try Trillian. It works on MSN, Yahoo, AIM, ICQ and IRC at the same time.0

Or you could try out Mozilla Firefox which is simular (but superior) to IE, and is free. https://www.mozilla.org if you're interested.Alex Jones0
