Can't use an Icon on my Keyboard.. Help please!

I have a HP G62 Notebook. At one time I could press the internet Icon and my homepage would come up this no longer works. Have I done something wrong or can anyone suggest any settings I need to look at. Incidentally I can still use the other icons like email etc on my keyboard
