Tax rebate - JSA taxable

Hi

I've been on the worng tax code and in employment for over a year. My tax code was half the amount it was supposed to be (as they wrongly assumed I had two jobs). I was assured of a tax rebate. but because in 2010 I was on JSA the amount I received was £24. I was expecting more like £500. the total I received in JSA was around £900 and I wonder if this affected my tax rebate?

Thanks in advance!

Amanda

Well JSA is taxable income if that is what you wanted to know.

So what was your tax code and what did you earn in total including employment and JSA
are you talking 2010 to 2011.

Details are needed before anyone can help you.

Where did you get the idea you were going to get £500
