Building extension to front of property

I, am going to build single storey extension to front of bungalow when originally built in 60s one corner of bungalow already has a small ext to front measures approx 12ft wide x9 deep i intend to
extend out to 22ftx 9ft to level up front of bungalow would i encounter any problems from local authority or are they ok with extensions on front my local authority is norfolk any info would be great help .

You'll need planning and building regs permissions http://www.planningportal.gov.uk/permission/commonprojects/extensions/

Yes you likely will, but may be different or hopefully easier out in the sticks.
The simple answer is approach your local authority office with a few sketches, some ordnance survey or google world mapping.
I have only ever found them accommodating, and if you miss this step you are alienating yourself to them, you are on their watch list.
