I was in the library yesterday with DS when I spotted a cartoon character on the cupboard door with the title Aesop, and I said to DS, that's me! Cue one confused child....:rotfl:0 -

PLMBL - sorry to hear about you losing your job in September. Do you have the qualifications to take over the nursery yourself? there are people out there who could help you set it up etc and good nurseries are hard to come by.0 -

I don't Aesop, I wish I did. My qualifications are to do with finance, I just 'fell' into childcare after DH's accident. I'm hoping someone like SureStart will step in though Xx

Topcashback and some more articles are helping me to get back on track for this month. I've reinvested some of my earnings from the articles into buying a digital camera so I can get some more listings onto Ebay... hopefully the rest of the month will be even more successful; set such a big target for myself this month :rotfl:
Hope everyone else is doing well0 -

braddy, just before you are about to speak to someone, hold your spit in your mouth. As you concentrate on holding the spit and talking to them, you will forget to be embarrassed and you won't blush. Your body can't cope with two emotions at the same time.
Thanks for the advice Aesop x I will try it out this week ready for the weekend xxxThe 1% Challenge #76 - Debt 1 = £620 - 1% = £6.20 - 4.3%

Get there nice and early so you can set up at a leisurely pace.
The first people to go round and look at your stuff are other traders, they'll try and snap it up at a bargain price early. Be wary of them, if they want to buy your stuff they can wait till the normal browsers have had their chance (as they'll usually pay a bit more)
Take a chair, standing up for hours isn't fun. If outside, take waterproofs, a thick jumper and sun cream - you never know!
A radio is nice to pass the time, some traders read a book, but i think this puts off buyers a litte.
Thank you for the hints and tips Amy x I will deffo need a chair and yeah I always feel awkward when I have to ask the person how much something is when there busy reading or chatting etc xxThe 1% Challenge #76 - Debt 1 = £620 - 1% = £6.20 - 4.3%
