IE9 upgrade

I was prompted to upgrade IE8 to IE 9. I did so. It appears in my Docs. I saved it, installed it, ran it, but still seem to be on IE8. What else do I need ot do ? Shouldn't it (IE() just 'take over' ?

Click on help and about. It will tell you what version you are on.

There's a button to press for that (just like there is for favourites in IE )

It's a blue box with a green tick in it and Thanks written on it
