IE9 upgrade

in Techie Stuff
I was prompted to upgrade IE8 to IE 9. I did so. It appears in my Docs. I saved it, installed it, ran it, but still seem to be on IE8. What else do I need ot do ? Shouldn't it (IE() just 'take over' ?
