Changing Bank Accounts

Hubby has been with Abbey/Santander for 20 plus years.

We have finally cleared the overdraft on the account and would like to open a new Current Account as we don't find Santander accomodating or helpful.

Which is a good account to go for? Are there any with deals when you switch to them?

Every month at least 2800 will be credited to the account.

I suggest you start with this guide.

It depends on what you want from an account and how you will use it but I would recommend First Direct (for the £100 introduction and great CS) and Halifax for the £5/month interest.

Lloyds have a scheme where if you get refered to by someone with the bank, both parties get a reward. Either a years Love film. a hotel stay or something else.
