Sorry, I've got to ask - if you're worried about the solvent-weld fitting raising the level by 2mm where it joins the vertical section.... Then what's at the other end of the 6 inch horizontal section?0

As you have chosen to shout and as you have now chosen to provide additional information which may have resulted in you being offered slightly different advice in the first instance then there seems little point in proceeding unless you feel like testing my crystal ball further..
People aren't posting here to frustrate you they are positing to try and help. Horse, lead, drink, water make!
So about bending 400m waste pipe - you are wasting your time. You are recommended to forget it and use an alternative method such as has already been amply explained to you and which will be accomplished in a fraction of the time it has taken to participate in this thread. Further aeons will also pass whilst you manufacture a heath-robinson rig like the one in the vid.
I am sorry that you have not received the answers you seem to want to hear but thats life and equally sorry you clearly do not want to listen to those who have obviously far more experience than you. If your second choice method is the sand one then be prepared for a very creased pipe which will then be fit for nothing than being binned - it ain't going to work!

Is this any good to you check out screwfix product code 67559 (type code into website) will need a compress', push fit, or solvent weld either end but it is a longish cont 90' bend...??? they also do a longer one but not sure of the bend angle. However sc being as they are you could just go to your local trade counter and they will show you the part no ob's.:beer:0

That's a great suggestion, and in-keeping with the OP - thanks
Do you know if it is 40mm pipe? I'll check at the local screwfix if you are unsure.0 -
Hi,
have a look at the first review it says, '"1 1/2" (40mm) flush pipe'.0 -
Best way to make sure it's ok is to take the fitting you want to connect to your local trade counter, they will let you have a tinker with the part to make sure it's ok. I have found a difference between brands of 40mm waste and some firms sell pipes as only for solventweld, push fit or commpression, so to make sure it's bang on i reckon do as above to be sure.0

Wig - you still have to make the joints. If you have no room now for compression fittings how are you going to manage it using a flush pipe?. Flush pipe is not the same material as waste pipe and I doubt very much you can use solvent weld on it because thats your only choice as you have no room for compression and pushfit is unlikely to match.
Even if you could solvent weld it you will still have two solvent weld joints on disimilar materials (which might not work and you'll get a leak) so whats the difference between that and using a standard 90 degree solvent weld bend straight onto the standard waste pipe as already advised which will work and you certainly won't get a leak although you seem hell bent on disbelieving this?

Indulge me, will you, and satisfy my curiosity. what's at the other end of the horizontal, and what is this pipe being used for?
we may actually be able to help if you furnish a bit more detail..... Don't shout, don't carp about us 'not posting in the spirit of the OP', just tell a bit about what you're trying to do - what the requirement is, not your method for fulfilling it.....0 -
