THough the seller did not tell a direct lie about the item condition, they strongly implied that it was in very good condition, and it's normally assumed that an item has no significant damage unless otherwise stated, so you'd have a good case.
They explicitly stated in the listing that it was in very good condition, so I'm not sure why you say they've only "strongly implied" this.

How much did you pay for it?
    & how much was P&P?
  • I paid £11.01 for it and postage was £2.99

Having done a contact search for the seller. The seller is now in contact with me. Perhaps, they read this forum which instigated their contact?

I have no dispute as to whether the item represents good value or not. My dispute is that it's stated original value and described condition were grossly misleading. I would not have bid at all if the description had been truthful. Therefore I've bought a piece of trash I didn't want.
