imac Help

Hi can anyone help me at all

I have just bought an imac and I have a Samsung Galaxy G50
YP-G50CW player
I have down loaded Samsung Kies for mac
but I cannot get it to recognise my player I've looked on the
internet and it seems a few people are having the same problems
any help would be much appreciated thanks

I had a similar problem with my macbook pro earlier this year, in the end I had to delete kies, connect my phone to a windows computer to update through kies on there then reinstalled it on the mac and it worked. Back then it was because my phone hadn't been updated and I had just upgraded to Lion so it wasn't fully compatible.

Have you updated your new imac to mountain lion yet? It could be that kies haven't yet updated their software to work with Mountain Lion considering it hasn't even been out for a week yet.

To be fair myself and my OH both had loads of issues with kies on windows laptops too, it's a terrible program.

I have sent an email to Samsung with no replay as yet
I've had the same problems with kies on windows it takes ages to load up
