After reading various posts on here about the dubious dealings of some car mat suppliers, can I have some suggestions for reputable sellers please ? I don't mind if you need to pm the info'.
Thanks
Brian.

I used mrcarmats. No idea of their revews, but I would give them 5 out of 5. Fit my car perfectly with clips in the correct place. Almost 20,000 miles of use and no wear issues, despite me ordering the cheapest material.

If you want their top spec check they do them before ordering as not all mats are available in all materials.

Get yourself onto Ebay, find genuine OEM mats.

Cost me £30 for a set of genuine GM mats for my Vectra.

Ill fitting mats can be dangerous........

That's the problem you see. The car has a black/grey interior and the oem mats are black. I wanted to brighten it up with a set of fitted mats that match the paint - orient red !

    Cheers

I'll second that, my car came with non-OEM mats which unbeknown to me, had a habit of creeping forward over time as I found when one of the pedals seemed to have become very stiff - the mat had worked its way up and was affecting the mechanism.

I have used this company for a boot liner, no problems, fitted perfectly and good service.
The car mats look OK on the site, come complete with original fixings so should not slip.

I've bought mats a couple of times, for different vehicles, from this company http://www.matscar.co.uk/ . They are reputable and reliable.
They also sell just front mats and only the driver's mat which usually wears most.
Maybe not the cheapest around but their products are of good quality.
  • I've brought from unitedcarparts.net before, I was very impressed by the quality! (I ordered a black set with a red custom trim - They look awesome in my car!).

stick to black, unless you like to clean your car every week, inside out.

Black is more forgiving as the dirt won't BE VISIBLE AS MUCH AS LIGHT COLOURS, some guy in a forum I visit created his own cream mats to match his cream interior - they won't stay matched for long
