They are little cuddly versions of the energy orbs - people go a bit crazy over them!!
I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off :o

    Hi ,

IHS 2007 - very disappointing as compared to previous years.

Tigergold - where did you get the fairy dishwasher sample? cheers in advance.

Also, random question - where did everyone get those daily mail bags from(and what was in them??) because, call me as blind as a bat but I failed to find the source and didn't get one...should I be disappointed? ;)
:D if you don't have anything nice to say, keep schtum.

There was a lady at the main entrance who was handing the samples and voucher out as you came in. We managed to get a few and last week in Tesco the 15 pack was BOGOF at £3.49 so 2 packs for free.

The daily mail bags were handed in out in the mornings at the main entrance also, i guess until stocks ran out. All that was in there was the daily mail newspaper.

    HTH :)

Got the daily mail in a bag, there were people giving them out on the way in as soon as you enter the main hall. Think it was just the newspaper in a bag, nothing else.
The diswasher tablet, i got on the way out, they were just handing them out with the people giving out the papers. I went on the first day 9th march, so not sure if they will still be giving out.
Also forgot to mention, got a DVD on patios and drives after going to theatre talk.
  • We were going saturday but it doesn't sound worth going to. thanks for the warning

We got a few of the £3.49 dishwasher coupons on the first day - using a free ticket of course!

They were only being handed out at 1 of the many entrances to the Show.

It looks terrible this year; many areas do not have stands (so they have sold less space than before). The houses that they used to build and the waterfalls etc have made it a spectacular show over the 20th century have pretty nearly all gone too - along with the freebies!

I'm glad everyone was disappointed, i thourght it was just me expecting too much. I had free tickets (via Amex), i would have been so annoyed if i paid to get in.
If you don't have tickets, don't despair, drive to your nearest industrial park and take a walk round Ikea, B&Q, Currys, bath store and any a supermarket - same effect and its FREE

    I totally agree!!
I actually bought 2 show programs to get some freebies which was good 1st one excellent 2nd one only appeared to have half the stuff in
managed to pick up 50 voucher books, the mail on sunday in its bag was ok and the food doctor was handing out seed packets and a sealed envelope with some decent vouchers in, the show house with m&s were giving away £1 off some smellies.
a sort of ok day but at £18 with 2 free carers tkts and car parking on top (lunch we took with us!)
will seriously try and get free tickets next year if its worth it!!
