RBS DD Problem

Hi Guys
Looking for a bit of advice
I have DD with RBS for mortgage - they did not take last month's payment (it was around the time of their little problem) - I phoned them 4-5 times during past month to ask if / when it would be taken - most of the time I was met with surprised "oh has it not be taken yet" - last one was - it will be taken in the next few days or a double payment will be taken.
This month's has come off - only one month.

A couple of my colleagues are the same - not yet been taken and yet another said his was taken on time.

Has anyone else got / had this problem ?
What should I do ?
Thanks
Ang

Sort of,I'm with, was with, the Ulster & they paid my car insurance DD at the start of July after I had cancelled the DD with both parties, yet to date no money has left my account but the insurers are saying it's been paid. They have also just debited my account last week with my Sky payment, despite the DD being cancelled again, which has resulted in my account going overdrawn, yet they haven't credited the debit ammount back to my account like they normally do.
I seriously doubt that the RBS/NW/Ulster is fixed as yet..despite what they tell us.

They will take it at some point so make sure you leave the amount due in the account and treat it as if it's not there any more. What Spike suspects may well be true (although it's probably worse still with Ulster Bank) based on what I heard from one of my ex-colleagues a few weeks ago.
