Hi Folks
I bought a brand new Sony camcorder about 10 years ago. I am now thinking of selling it and buying amore modern small compatible camcorder.
Can you suggest what websites I could use in order to sellit? Do you think I could part exchangeit when buying a new one from one of the major retailers such as Curry or Dixons?
Thanks in advance for your response.

You won't want to hear this but I doubt you'll get more than a few pounds using Ebay or the local paper.....nearly everyone wants a high definition camcorder these days and they're pretty cheap, non HD cams are even cheaper making second hand items pretty much worthless.
It obviously depends on the model you've got, some older items still keep a value but the average camcorder (digital 8 or miniDV) aren't worth much.
Just look on ebay for similar models to get an idea.
most shops don't part exchange unless the manufacturer has a promotion (rare these days)

Try your local museum ...........:rotfl:0

If you use Facebook you could see if there's a local Buy & Sell page. You'd have a limited local market, but it's free & no P&P to worry about.0
