Western Union Help

Hi,

I have used Freelancer to find people to finish websites off for me and 9 times out of 10 I have never had a problem up until a couple of weeks ago.

I paid someone on Western Union to sort out a website (convert it to a wordpress format). I have never used Western Union and he said it's easier to do via western union so I did and stupidly paid in advanced.

He gave me the files 4 hours later and they were completley wrong and I told him that. A week on and he said he has not had the time to complete it and will issue a refund but will have to wait 15-20 days when he gets paid.

I am really annoyed and I have sent a message to western union as I feel as this was fraudulent to get money out of me rather than to do the work. I used my debit card to make payment and wanted to go through them as well. No response from Western Union at all.

Is there any help in getting this money back, I just dont trust what this guy is saying.

Thanks for that, yeah Freelancer has a feedback site, soo annoyed as I knew I shouldn't have done it.

I am still planning to contact my bank to report this.
