been refused american express card

Hi all

I applied for an american express card becuase i have a nectar card so that i could 6000 points and i have been refused. Despite not being in debt and having a bank credit card, i dont use it much though...... i just dont understand why they would refuse me.

  • Sounds about right. These days if their not going to make any moolla from you then its 'thanks, but no thanks but apply again and waste another credit search'. Cant blame them though.

    do i just start using the credit card i have already for shopping etc?
