Hi, am so upset, I pay £75. per month off a credit card balance and have not missed for 3 years. The promotonal PART rate finished and minimum payments went up to £84. but i did not notice.
They have taken the rate away and the interest alone is now £112 and minmum payments are now £199 per month. They also say they reported it to the credit reference agency and I will be unable to get any other credit or a loan.
PS this is Virgin and I thought they were helpful!!!
Why did they not contact me and let me know !
Am in total shock and wondered if any one had any ideas or if its something I have to live with.

They did let you know on the statement. It always lists the min payment amount. Did you just pay a set amount and not the minimum. Surely you knew when the set rate would end?
Change your set payment to now be just over £200. How much was the balance that you originally had on the card.On the way to ZERO!!

Phone call.
Apologise.
Ask that they waive charges and reinstate the deal.
Your mistake. See if you can fix it.0
