Screwfix

If you are a bona fide tradesman, electrician for example and you wanted a garden shed would screwfix give a discount from the on-line price?

Thanks

I'm a tradesman (but not an electrician or plumber) and pay normal prices on everything I buy. My plumber is registered with Plimbfix and gets discounted prices on everything he buys including non plumbing items.

Is a discount on higher than normal prices still a discount?

It's the same with B&Q trade counter, but then we get staff discount that blows that away anyway.;)
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Plumbfix and Electrifix are the plumbing and electrical side, anyone that can prove they are a proper plumber (wet and gas) and electrician can ask to convert to the relevant side, they will then get a vat not included catalogue which does offer some discounted prices compared to the retail catalogue.

The trade card is like a credit card, but there are incentives for tradesmen that spend certain amounts, (ie, spend £2k in one month and get a voucher for £200 off the next month), the amounts/targets etc are different for different people.

But if you are a builder, then no, you can't get a discount on the normal catalogue price or online price. Not unless you are a trade card customer, a big spender and it's been agreed with the head office.

Screwfix is part of B&Q, I work at B&Q and know if you are a Tradepoint customer you can get a small discount off certain items (Don't know about sheds?)

In my store they give a Tradepoint card to anyone with 2 forms of ID and something showing your business such as a letterhead or business card.
The Trade UK card is different and is an actual credit card as mentioned in post above.
