The following group of people are just over halfway to their target of raising £2,000 for the Hospice and so I thought I would share their page with folks here who may feel able to help boost their total. If you live in or have family in the Lanarkshire area, please do consider this worthy cause if you are thinking of making a charity donation soon.St Andrew's Hospice (http://www.st-andrews-hospice.com/ charity registered in Scotland, No SC 010159 ) provides specialist palliative care services - the total care of patients who require complex symptom management and or end-of-lifecare - and is open to all, without distinction of race, gender, or creed. It is Lanarkshire's only Specialist Hospice and provides multidisciplinary support for patients, their families, and carers.
Many thanks, and good luck to all those undertaking the walk (the West Highland Way...over 90 miles.......ooooh, hope they have good blister plasters) :
