transfering from iphone to laptop

Hi

I have to send my iphone for repair tomorrow and the guy at vodafone says that it will come back blank. Can anyone tell me how I can transfer everything from my phone to my laptop. I have itunes and it syncs automatically when I connect my phone to my laptop.

If this sounds clueless...that's cos I am when it comes to techi stuff

Your phone will be fully backed up each and every time you sync it with your computer. When you get your repaired phone back, just hook it back up and it'll ask you if you want to restore from a backup and you just select the last backup you did.
