Help, I think new ebay buyer is messing me around

Advice needed please to a newbee ebayer
Just sold an item to a first time buyer who appears to be messing me around. He bought a very large item from me with cash on collection. Since he won the auction he has continually asked me questions regarding the item, weight, length height etc as he intends taking it home in a trailer. I answer them and then he just comes back with another question. He wants exact measurements, more or less to the inch.
He is a first time buyer and could have asked this before bidding. Now really P****d off with him. I am worried that when he gets all the info he wants, he will come down and find his trailer too small and will be even more awkward. I have suggested to him he brings a big enough trailer but he wants exact measurements for cost purposes. Would it be acceptable now to refuse to sell it to him as It would be worth the lost fees

Don't understand what you mean. it's a cash on collection collecting a large vehicleit sound like he wants to arrange a courier to be honest....

No he's bringing it back with him, and taking it back on a vehicle trailer0 -
Add a few inches to the dimensions to play it safe.
I would agree he may say, A man and a van or a courier are coming to collect it.
Just say thats fine as long as they dont expect it to be packed or wrapped etc and the driver pays cash on collection.
I have paid by paypal and someone will collect tomorrow maybe on the cards?
Just keep telling them its cash on collection only so no point in paying by paypal.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Just to highlight the pitfalls of this potential situation further.
If you were to do it this way and he then opened a Paypal case saying he never collected, what evidence could you have against this claim.
Cash on collection definitely!0
