gbp 10.00 appx hm land registry bankruptcy search
gbp 4.25 telegraphic tansfer
gbp 200.00 hm land registy fee

+ stamp duty

additionals
gbp 36.88 - telegraphic transfer
gbp 58.75 - fee for completing SDLT (whats a SDLT?)
gbp 5.88 - credit reference work (per search)

plus an additional 65.00 plus vat for acting for the lender.

legal fees seem quite cheap (SLDT form is extra - most solicitors do this in their quote).

I would try to go with a decent local who may charge u a bit more but will save u alot of hassel and will know the area etc. Its not worth the risk with the biggest purchase of your life!!!

I wouldn't compromise just to save £100-£200 - it could end costing alot more if the transaction isn't handled properly.
