Hi everyone I was wondering if someone could help. Ive just been made redundant and finish on Tuesday. Ive been working for the same company for almost 16 years since leaving school. I will be receiving redundancy of around 5300 GBP and I will also get my 3 months notice paid up front. Will I have to pay it all into my IVA. Im guessing after tax it will total around 10k. Also, would it be possible to offer them a full and final and if so does anyone know what will be an acceptable offer. My debts were just under 30k and Ive been paying into my IVA now for almost 3 years. Ive not even begun looking for a new job yet but am confident I will get one, but I dont think I will get the wage Im currently on and think Ill be looking in dropping pay from around 30k to 25k, any help and advice will be much appreciated.

Just phone them to ask what the settlement would be for now.

Then half it and make them that offer as F&F lump payment.

Work out your monthly payments and x the number of months remaining of your IVA. This will give you an approximate figure to offer but remember to take off 2 yrs supervisor fees.

Your IVA company are unlikley to tell a figure as it is upto you to make an offer
