Build over agreements

We're in the process of purchasing a property and have found out that there is a foul water sewer running through the rear of the property and a surface water sewer running through the front of the property.
I know that if we ever want to extend the house over the foul water sewer we'll need to get a build over agreement.
The current owner has built a driveway (presumably over the surface water sewer) and I was wondering whether this would have also required a build over agreement.
Any ideas? I have just emailed my solicitor to ask this precise question but it will be Monday at the earliest before I receive an answer so I wondered if anyone here would know.

I think they just apply to buildings. A driveway is easily dug up, a room is not as easy as it would have foundations etc.
My parents have a sewer going under their front drive and they just had to make sure they still had access to the manhole, which they do.What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0 -
