Why can't I post now unless I allow scripts from googleapis.com to run on my PC (not required yesterday).

I only receive a message "The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 10 characters" no matter how long the post is.

Anyone know what's going on?

Works fine for me, no issues.

Have you installed any new programs since yesterday?

Hi steve, thanks for getting back to me.

    I haven't installed anything recently.

The problem has only come to light today. I have the NoScript add-on for the Firefox browser protecting me from dodgy scripts running on my PC. There was not problem yesterday.

I don't like the idea of Google - the spy in the sky - watching my activities.

    According to <this web page> :-
googleapis.com is a domain used by Google APIs which is an widget company that is part of a network of sites, cookies, and other technologies used to track you, what you do and what you click on, as you go from site to site, surfing the Web. Over time, sites like googleapis.com can help make an online profile of you usually including the sites you visit, your searches, purchases, and other behavior. Your profile can then be exchanged and sold between various companies like googleapis.com as well as being sold to other advertisers and marketers.
Big brother is now tracking our MSE activity.

Thanks Martin, just what we need - I don't think.

Is this the beginning of the end for MSE?

Oh yeah... it tells me that the message is too short (when it isn't) if I block googleapis.com...

However, the site works fine if you enable scripts from that domain and use the Do Not Track Plus add-on that Abine say will block tracking attempts... Not that I'd necessarily believe them!
