Ragwort - what to do with?

I have a magnificent ragwort plant on my allotment which is about to be pulled out - I don't want to put it into my compost heap, we aren't allowed bonfires on our lotty site or at home, so what do I do with it?

I just compost it but you can leave it somewhere in the sun and in a fortnight it will be crispy and then compost it if you don't want to compost it as is. Or soak in a bucket of water until it almost dissolves and then compost it.
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

Thank you - I think a combination of the two methods is what will apply on my plot as there has been more rain than sun - leave outside for 2 weeks until it almost dissolves!
