Hi, I just became British, neutralized from South Korean.
I'm travelling to Germany and Poland on August (coming back 2 week later) and I noticed on Lonely Planet guide it said
"Passports must be valid for at least six months after the end of your trip. Citizens of most Western countries can enter Germany without a visa; other nationals may need a Schengen Visa."
Since I don't think I can get British passport within week I have to use my South Korean passport.
My South Korean passport is expiring at end of December. I'm wondering because my passport expiration date is under six month if there will be trouble travelling to Germany and Poland.
I checked to see if I require visa and South Korean passport don't require visa to travel to Germany or Poland.
Travel route is Germany by plane. Poland by car from Germany. Reverse for back to UK.
Many thanks!

I can't answer your question but I sincerely hope you have been 'naturalized' as being 'neutralized' sounds rather painful. This space has been intentionally left blank0

As far as I can make out (with difficulty and not fully confidently) Germany does not require your passport to be valid for 6 months - just the intended period of stay

Your passport will not be checked travelling by road into and out of Poland0 -
Was it you who put the flag up at Hampden ?0
