Shop bought frozen fruit

Hi I buy fresh fruit twice a week to go in my porridge and I have a fresh fruit salad about 5 times a week but last week while in Morrison I bought their Blackforest Frozen Fruit Mix 500g for £1.99 so today I added some to my porridge after defrosting and I must admit it was delicious so my question is could anyone recommend any other frozen fruits and maybe the best place to buy them. Thanks

(sorry, link didn't post fully - you will have to scroll all way to bottom - basics berries)0 -
Possibly just me but I hate the way frozen fruit tastes mushy once defrosted.
I bought Sainsbury's fruit salad mix several years ago and it was disgusting! Tasted nothing like fruit at all!0 -

I agree with you about fruit salad mix but I dont think freezing has a detrimental effect on berries.0 -
I use frozen berries in jugs of Pimms. They act like ice cubes, chilling the drink, without diluting it. I always get compliments on my Pimms!0

Another vote for these, they're really good value for the money. They're especially great in winter if you fancy a berry crumble or some compote for breakfast, and they make nice smoothies too.0 -
Another vote for Sainsbury Bluberries. I usually buy when they are 3 for £5. Fab with porridge or into yoghurt.:D0

Often if you go to a late market, you can pick up raspberries/blackcurrants at a fraction of the cost, just wahs them, spread them out on kitchen paper, dry a little, pop them back in their box and freeze. Much cheaper than supermarket fruit.
Even at full price I got 2 decent punnets of raspberries for £1. I get about a dozen and freeze them or make jam.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Do you have a blender. I can see you look after your health.
My daily dose of fruit and veg
Raspberries
strawberries
half a banana
half a carrot
2 sprouts (I promise, you just cannot detect them)
mixed nuts.
some fruit juice.
Lasts me all day and it really is lovely
I do this because I hate all vegetables and this way I get them into my system.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
