BBC internet radio abroad?

Just getting ready to go to France and have read that BBC have just started blocking access to some internet radio stations. Expat shield does not seem to cure the problem. Any solutions?
Fortunately we will have Sky so will get radio in the house.

Quote from the bbc

'The BBC's agreement with the International Olympic Committee means we are not allowed to broadcast anything online outside the UK from the Olympic Park or Olympic venues.

As a result this programme may need to be blanked for International listeners due to rights issues surrounding Olympic content in programmes.

So because of the Olympics we must miss our usual radio programmes!

I would imagine this would mostly affect 5Live, can't imagine Radio 6 or other stations having much trouble except for the occasional news bulletin

I can confirm that Radio 4, local radio Manchester and also Leeds carried the same message. Strange thing was that I was able to key in to BBC1 TV for the Olympic thing.
