Is Jewellery sent via Small Packet covered for Loss?

I know Jewellery (sent within the UK) any other way than Special delivery isn't covered if the item gets lost.
But what about Jewellery sent overseas via Small Packet.....
I sent a £12 Bracelet to someone in Australia who hasn't received it, will i still be compensated by Royal Mail for the loss?

I have always thought that jewellery was not covered standard airmail but was corrected on here by someone linking to a page that appeared to show no restrictions other than phones.

There's a lot of mis info on this. Jewellery, i.e. precious metals, cash, tickets and vouchers are not covered by standard compensation. Costume jewellery is.
The restrictions on mobiles overseas applies to compensation above £46. i.e. they cannot be insured for more.
