hi i had a medical on the 10th of july
could anyone tell me how long roughly is it till a person hears what the desision is please as i forgot to ask when i went

Had mine same day,got my letter yesterday,but it does vary in different parts of the uk,some have taken months rather than weeks.

Probably weeks but perhaps months. My advice is ask the DWP for a copy of the report... the ESA85 ATOS HC medical report... there's a decent chance it'd be of use to you in some capacity regardless of outcome. The DWP Decision Maker ultimates takes the decision but that report may simply be effectively rubber stamped. If you had asked at medical what the decision was then they should have informed you that they do not make the decisions on benefit entitlement.

Depends what the back log in your benefit centre is. Could be days - believe me, or perhaps longer... As part of the process, you should get a phone call to ask for any further info before the decision is made.If you do, expect a decision in the next few days...
