Can Wire transfers + CHAPS transfers be paid into Saving accuons?

I think this is a better place on the forum to ask this.
If you have a savings bank account, can wire transfers from others be done into this savings accoung?
and also Chaps payments, can they be done from others to a savings account?

It depends - the answer is usually yes but you need to check the T&Cs or call the help desk. Some savings accounts only allow transfers in from one particular account, others (eg Derbyshire) have a different account for CHAPS transfers to go to ....0
