That sounds too expensive...you can get Paul Mckenna for that
Where are you based/near? There was one on groupon for £80 for 3 sessions but near manchester, maybe one of the deal sites has one near to you.
Have a look here and then google reviews if any are relevant to you.

Hi Clairibel
I'm on the Herts/Essex borders, north London area. Will take a look on that site you linked to, I too thought that £300+VAT for an hour was a little high
Had it been 60 minutes mud-wrestling with the !!!!!cat dolls then maybe, but not for someone to swing a pocket watch back and forth in front of me :rotfl:0 -

Hope you get sorted x0 -
£300 per hour is far too high. I know of some very well qualified and experienced therapists who are charging around £60 per session. I'd be wary of anyone claiming to 'cure' you in one session. You don't need to be paying £300 to access this kind of treatment0

Just to throw my 5 cents in...certifications, etc in hypnotherapy mean diddly squat. There are no "officially accredited" hypnotherapy courses/qualifications because there is no single body which oversees hypnotherapy...there are a few different organisations which require a minimum number of courses/qualifications/hours to be undertaken, but this doesn't automatically make someone a good hypnotist.
The only way to go about it is through word of mouth. There are some fantastic hypnotists out there with no "qualifications" as such who are absolutely fantastic, and others who can show you reams of certificates showing all the courses they've undertaken to become "experts" who are absolutely terrible and I wouldn't touch with a bargepole.
Take your time, do your research and go by word of mouth.0 -
Thanks everyone
Racheldevon, I'm guessing your location is in your name right??
Am after a highly recommended therapist in N.London/Herts/Essex area
Do anyone know of any other forums where I may get a lead?
Thanks again0 -
Hi,
Yes i'm in Devon, so can't recommend someone there, there are several bodies as such, my friend who's a hynotherapist recommended the link I posted in one of the earlier posts though0
