scottish nursing student?

i am starting my nursing degree in september. i have applied for funding and my bursary but the rules regarding dependants is unclear. should i get money for my daughter if my husband is working?

    Maybe contact student services at your uni, they have no doubt helped plenty of parents with a similar issue.

  • Hi, I am starting in september also, I rang them today, apparently you have to tick the box that says your partner is a dependant on your in your application, you then give details of his last years income. As it is means tested you may not get the adults dependants grants, but this will also open up for you to apply for parents learning allowance, which you many be more likely to receive.
