Post Office Credit Card Lost My Id!!!

Hi,
I recently applied for a post office credit card, I had to send them 3 forms of id, one of which included my photo driving licence. Anyway I sent them off making sure the envelope was sealed with sellotape.
Couple of days later I recieve a recorded letter containing two of my ids minus the photo card. I rang them up straight away and they say they never received it, but I definetly did send it.
I have written and explained this but they are still saying they havent got it.
I want to take it further as i dont want to pay £30 or so for a replacement.
Any ideas on what to do now???
Many thanks!

When I applied they was an option to show my I.D. at a post office, which I did. They just took some details and gave me my I.D. back.
A replacement driving licence would be £19. Perhaps you could ring/write to them and ask if they would please contribute to the cost of the lost driving licence.0
