in Credit cards
I have a barclaycard which I have for about 25 years, have a large credit limit from when I used to earn a lot more. I have quite a large amount owing (about £10000). I have a good credit rating, but earn very little these days.
My question is, in order to take advantage of one of the 0% balance transfer cards on offer atm, will I need to provide proof of income to establish this level of credit limit, or will they just do a credit check, and provided that is clear, that is the only checks they will do?

They usually trust the information you provide is correct but they may ring your employer and ask questions.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.
