Marrakech hotel/ riad advice

Hello, I'm hoping that someone can give me some acccommodation advice for Marrakech.
I'm planning to go in October on a guided trip around Morocco which will finish in Marrakech. I'd like to stay on for a couple of days on my own to relax as I'm sure that the tour will be pretty hectic. Does anyone have a hotel/ riad recommendation of somewhere convenient to stay, so that I can go out and explore alone, but also with a terrace or somewhere to stay in the hotel and sunbathe? (depending on the weather at the end of October) I'm looking for a mid-range sort of place- nice but not too exensive.
I will take a look at tripadvisor too, but wondered if anyone has any recommendations.
