How long before you contact a Buyer

Fairly new to ebay and a buyer has bought one of my items which was for collection only 3 days ago. Should they contact me first to arrange collection and if not when should I contact them to arrange collection. Thanks in advance

I normally contact a buyer straight after auction if it's collection only - I give them my phone number and let them know when I will be in, i.e. evenings and weekends...

I'd give them a weekend to get in touch but the two above answers sound very sensible. It's best to be pro-active and flexible as a seller of collection items.
