Strange situation paying Very account

Just to check if anyone else has had the same issue.
Was paying my final take 3 payment to my very account, typed in my barclaycard number, had enough available funds, address matched etc, but I got an error message saying "Merchant does not accept payments initiated from your location." I live in Glasgow so not exactly unusual, and also I'm not abroad trying to make the payment. I thought it might be my new laptop, so tried to make the payment through their website on my iPhone, but got the same error. After that I tried through my phone again, but this time I turned off my wifi and used my mobile signal and it went through with no problems. Not a rant or anything like that, just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience?
I've had my account for about 3 years, and I use Sky broadband.
