Concrete patio

I have concrete from my back door to a wall halfway down the garden, the area is approx 15ft x 25 ft.
Any ideas for making it a more appealing area or a low cost way of covering it up as there is a big crack in it.

Put gravel over the top? Check how much room is above your patio and damp proof course. you may be able to put slabs over the top of the concrete.
I have just done this. I know have a random pattern of slabs with big gaps in between and gravel to fill in the gaps.

Or in my case, sweet talk the friendly gas men who have come round to replace the street's main and every single pipe in the street leading to every house!!! >:(
I got grunged up in digging clothes and then went outside with my wheelbarrow and said good morning. Within 15 mins they were round with their drilling equipment, had the patio concrete up within 10 and I supplied a box of Roses!!
Got shingle and sand down, slabs laid by a man who can.
Whole lot was cost of materials!0
