Has anyone been to one of their free valuation days before? Any idea how bust it gets or what time we should get there on Sunday? Advertised times are 09:00 - 16:30 i think.

I've been to 2 of these and when I arrived just before opening time each time the queues were literally 'round the block':eek:. Didn't seem to matter being slow to get my stuff seen, though, as everyone was so good-natured about waiting etc.

Eventually seen around 11.30 by one of the many 'experts' there who give info and a valuation themselves and pre-select the best items for the televised experts to see. Unfortunately they didn't think my items were good/interesting enough to be televised (or maybe it was me that wasn't:rotfl:)

We left about 12.30 and there were still loads of people waiting in the hall to be seen but the outside queue had gone!

Not much help, I'm afraid:o. Just go at a time to suit you and don't have anything urgent planned for the rest of the day!
